doubleheaders
I always thought if mlb wanted to impress fans they would actually schedule doubleheaders on Sat and Sun, and have it be for the price of one game! Think about it. On the two days of the week you have the best chance to see baseball all day you could actually watch two games for the price of one. You could have at least two dhs like this every month, one at home and one on the road. If players are serious about spending more time with their families then wouldn't think it was a good idea to have the season shortened by two weeks?
