If you recall, the "Mission" he spoke of was the end of the Iraqi army...
... care to tell me where that army is now?
. . . oh, that's right, it isn't . . . cuz that mission was accomplished, in a time and manner that surprised even those who planned the operation in the first place. Now we're fighting insurgents, certainly, but when the President noted the end of "major combat operations" he was hardly mistaken.
