heck again
well who wants to go to the Classic Hell?
The idea is no one wants to do it -- but its' best.
Children don't want spankings.
No wants to be corrected in any way.
But the purpose of correction is to correct.
At least you stated you don't have an affinity for this life.
maybe that's why it's called "hell on Earth."

heck
probably there will always be hundreds of divergent views on Hell, etc.
I've already stated what I believe, and I'll state it here to counter this new dude's statement.
Hell is our life.
We are reincarnated. Our Life is a purging of those things in us that are harmful to us and to others. We may have to go through several in order for that to occur.
The Bible has several passages that seem to support this, mainly I timothy 2:3-4.
And we'll never come to an agreement over this.
Of course, we'll never know until we die.

hell is not a punishment
It is a consequence. Anyone who attains hell attains it on his own. God is the good--hell is the absence of that good. With the absence of goodness itself or anything that has some goodness, there is misery. Hell is not what God wants for us. We are made in his image and likeness and he wants us to share in his presence for eternity. We have free will and reason and we can use them for that end or we can use them to our detriment.
What happens to us individually for eternity can not be known and Christ warns that
any Christian who thinks they can say who is saved is smokin' something(or words to that effect). There are many passages in the bible about what is necessary to attain salvation. Unfortunately too many Christians interpret them way too strictly. God, who is Mercy itself does care about everyone and just how is it possible to deliberately turn your back on him if you never knew him?
