Thanks for asking. Please read my blog. My philosophy is that one can find God within the self by expanding the seed or spark of goodness that exists within us all. But there is much more than that, if you will read all the posts.

Kooka
Kooka, that’s great. If you can accomplish all that good without effort, you are indeed an evolutionary milestone.

I help myself adhere to the good conscious by doing good and being good. I know when I am doing good and when I am not. I am aware of my actions and where they might led. I know that when I am helping to make the world a better place and helping others out I am doing good. I will never claim to be perfect in this. I do slip and from time to time do something which is selfish, but that is something everyone does, and some are mush worse than others. I am not in the habit of doing selfish deeds. Yet I do n to need to put effort into thinking about what is right and what is wrong. I live my life by the simple guidelines of that follow the golden rule and that makes it very clear to me when I am doing good and when I am not.

The Path With Heart
REading Castaneda, I came across this statement.
By way of introduction, Carlos' teacher is Don Juan Matus, a Yaqui Indian shaman, who initiates Carlos into the mysteries of shamanism via hallucinogenic mushrooms - peyote - outlawed here in the U.S. except indigenous peoples' religious ceremonies.
The statement is, and I think it applies everywhere (and I paraphrase)

As far as the way to the goal (salvation, etc.) is concerned, there are many paths. The key is to choose the path with heart.

Kooka - So what is your philosophy
Bravo – I can agree with much of this. Our only disagreement seems to be the terminology we choose to use for the good conscious. You say the good conscious is Kooka. I say the good conscious is God. But we both agree that the good conscious is good and we both agree that it should be encouraged, expanded, and perpetuated. The next logical step for us to explore is how best to encourage, expand and perpetuate the good conscious. Kooka, you have stated that you feel only parts of the Bible are helpful to you in this regard and you seem to be rather adverse to other religions as well. So the question is: What does Kooka do to help him adhere to the good conscious? Shawnbrantley works to advance the good conscious by meditating and praying so as to constantly keep the good way in the forefront of his actions. Does Kooka do this as well or does Kooka have some other mechanism to assist him in this regard? Or is Kooka some type of evolutionary milestone wherein the animal instinct has suddenly reasserted itself, but with a new good program?
