I'm also in Jeffco.
And I agree with you. As a parent of a child that was a Junior in High School, at another Jeffco school, and who was Gothic, I gotta tell you that hearing that principal deny there was any kind of bullying at HIS school made me so mad.
My kid was unfairly targeted by the school administration after Columbine to make sure she was OK, that she wasn't ANGRY with anyone. And the watched her closely.
This frustrated and angered her, but she was a good kid, and I'm VERY involved in her life, and she wasn't THAT angry. She was having too good a time, living her life to worry about it.
Seeing the anniversary Columbine coverage, pissed R [my daughter] and I both off. Let me tell you. We both know little has changed at the school besides the decor.
