- Go to Satan, what's that all about? Revisited

You did not listen to what I was saying. Satan was created in a later translation of the Bible to be the Devil. Originally Satan was a position, not a person. Go out and do the research. Not just the Christian propaganda, but look into what else is out there

You will have to study the ancient language
THe KJ says that God did this and God did that and it pleased the Lord to inflict harm of so and so. But the Lord in the OT was in fact the devil. Those people had no revelation of Satan so ascribed EVERYTHING that happend to
the Lord ( God) but the truth is God had nothing to do with it. Satan was the god of the earth in those days and he tormented the earth at will according to the fear that was in the earth. Proof:
And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. 7If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. 8And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Adam in the Garden of Eden gave all of the authority in the earth to Satan when he committed high treason against God.

I've heard this all before
Yet I have gone and done research and listened to others who have done research. I know the origins of what is called Satan in the Bible. I know that the present teaching of what Satan is is not what the older text said. It has been changed. This is fact.
If there is a God he is the one who drops buildings on people. He is the one who causes floods and earthquakes and famine and disease. He openly does these things in the Bible, and yet for some reason we can not accept the idea that he might still do them. I wish to know what you use to make this conclusion, because the Bible itself does not back up you idea that God would not do such things.

Believe me, I say this with due respect
you really dont know what your talking about. You dont have any idea about who satan is nor God either. You are an atheist, which means you dont have any inkling about the nature of God or satan ( both of whom are very real) because you dont know Him or satan and you dont believe in them. So what qualifies you to make commentary on spiritual affairs other than free thinking and free speech. I dont go around discussing the nature and motives of aliens because I dont know any of them personally. And I dont have opinions on astrophysics because I have no knowledge of it. I know you have read the bible. But the bible is spiritual in origin hidden in a mystery and can only be revealed to a heart that seeks Him. Bottom line. And anyone who claims that God drops buildings on people is either badly misinformed or lying.
