I didn't realize that you were holding a gun...

...to every member's head and forcing them to click your posts.  I've read several of your pieces, and while you are dynamic in your presentation, I don't think "pushy" is accurate.  Kook, I don't agree with some of your beliefs or ideas, like the fact that you can know true happiness without God; however, I also realize that's something that you have to realize on your own-to discover for yourself.

And for the record, I've known many non-christians that live a more Christian life than quite a few Christians I know.

By the way, this post just made me add you to my favorites.

At some level
I personally try to reply to every comment if I can. It just seems like the polite thing to do. And often it is hard to get the whole of my ideas out in the post so I try to explain the details to those who do not understand. And I have to defend myself at times.

The problem for me right now if that there are some here who are trying to say I am forcing my myself on others, while defending those of the same beliefs who are doing that same thing I do. I try to not be a hypocrite and I get annoyed by those who are.

Kooka - I do not believe I have ever commented on your blogs before
but I have read them.  This is not a debate or a bitch just an observation.  It seems to me that the religious and the atheists, the Christians and the Pagans all do pretty much the same things:  put forth their beliefs or lack of them for all to see.  Then these comments are received or rejected in pretty much the same way.  The difference seems to me to be on the receiving end of the comments.  Some people care a lot about what others think and take the comments very personally.  Could this possibly be because that person is not 100% sure of their beliefs and may have a tiny bit of doubt in their own minds which puts them on the offensive?  Others on either side of the subject who care not at all what others think accept the comments and move on because they believe what they believe and do not feel threatened.

p-flower
I am not one but surprised that you just read my whole post and that is all you could say about.
It did read 'blah, blah, blah, I do not believe in God, blah, blah ,blah' to you, didn't it. Oh and you saw the words 'debate' and 'preaching' I guess.
it is amazing at how much stuff can go in one ear and out the other

Kooka:::I wasn't debating or preaching. I was bitching. Now I want you to go and learn the difference.
