Comments on Why I know there is no God

Has anyone ever seen God?
We are all children of God manifest.  God lives within us.  It doesn't matter beans to me if you believe it or not.  It's in the choosing to accept this that you will find peace.  You have obviously chosen to not accept this, not only with stating so, but in your anger and frustration anyone can see that.  Everything isn't contingent on the number 7 as you illustrate to prove a point.  In Genesis, it states that God created the world in 6 days and he rested on the seventh, creating a Sabbath.  That doesn't mean that everything in this world should correlate with the number 7.  There are flaws in your thinking that you would like to illustrate as fact.  But you are not an authority.  Sorry, but your arguments don't hold water.  Peace.

You do not listen and you never will.
Any point I try to make to you just goes over your head.
Half the time I think you only read every five words of so of what I write
You will never get the message of what I keep saying
It really is best if you just back down and leave it alone
Somehow this is making me look like the one who is pushing it, yet it is you who does not have enough sense to understand that it is all just pointless.
If you want to debate, really debate, I am all for that. State your opinion with facts to back it up, I will state mine and we debate. But stop it with 'I can't understand how you can not see the truth' bull shit. In is insulting to me and I am getting tired of it.

Kooka
Kooka, how many times do I have to say it? You will find God within yourself. You keep looking for God as some kind of external character that you expect to waltz into your life. You have the wrong concept about God and I keep telling you that but you just won’t listen. You must seek God from a spiritual aspect.

It amazes me that you have the audacity to criticize the beautiful creation that surrounds you even though it is the only visible environment within which you can survive

You are not perfect because you remain in the process of being created. You are evolving toward perfection.

I've heard that as well
But it always sounded like an easy way to dodge having to give a real answer. And it just makes no sense. It would be like eating the last cookie and then telling you child to not look in the cookie jar, but have faith that there is still in a cookie in there.

I do not believe any gods or goddesses, but as long as you are not trying to convert me, I have no problem with what you believe. Each to their own and I am very happy that you have found a system of belief that works for you.

Pagans and witches make more sense to me than Christians, but I still do not believe as they do. I like the idea of being part of nature and drawing on the Earth for energy.
My problems come from the idea that some people have of saying their system of beliefs is what everyone needs to follow. I am not against the idea of believing in God, it is just not for me. It is just I got tired of someone trying to tell me I needed to be saved. Go back and look at some of the comments I have had to deal with as of late and you will see what I am talking about.

I was taught he doesn't appear to anyone because that's what FAITH is for. It is his way of testing us. Do we have real faith? I don't belive their is one male almighty figure over the universe though. There are many gods and godess.
