9/11
was all man my dear. Some people like to have the idea of a God around to comfort us, as you made clear with your statement. I have no need for it.
I find that by now worrying about a higher being who might punish us, I can work harder on making sure I enjoy life. 9/11 happened because someone was able to use the idea of God to make others to evil things. We have seen this too many times in history. People want reasons as to why they have problems in their lives. Someone points the finger saying it is the fault of the 'Godless' and is able to get a whole bunch of people to go after the 'Godless'. In the end there would be a lot less problems in the world if everyone was an Atheist.

Have you forgotten 9/11. I am not saying that God caused this,
but in His sovereignty, He allowed it, and yes there is a God, because I would be scared to death, if I knew that the world was in the hands of people like the terrorist.   Thank God, it is not!

I have read Revelations and I found it very amusing.
There is no God, so I have nothing to worry about.
I use the name God because that is what the man-made being is called. That does not mean I have to believe in 'God' to use that as its name. That would be like telling me that I have to believe in Casper the Friendly Ghost if I use the correct name for him. Very poor logic there.

I would rather take the gamble and be true to myself, than go around lying that something is real when I know it is not. I find it very amazing at the amount of Christians who want me to lie, not only to everyone out there but to myself as well.

It is obvious that you do not like what I have to say. You care not about my beliefs, because they disagree with yours. If what I have to say upsets you, then there is a very easy way to solve this problem. You can stop reading my posts.

I am hoping for constructive debates, not just someone coming in and telling me I am damned to hell.

Hey, atheist!

Your blog has self-destructed. The mere fact that you use the word God and refer to God by name proves that you do think there is a God. You have the choice to believe and follow the Lord or not. You will certainly find out the truth after you take your last breath. You are obviously a big gambler or high roller because what if your are wrong? Eternity is longer than you or I or anyone else can imagine. God's timing is of his own choosing. Your taunting takes guts or should I say a very poor choice of action. If you read Revelations, I think you may be able to understand how close we are to the actual end of this world. Of course, like I said, you have a choice. I do wonder why you continue to write about something over and over that according to you does not exist?! Worried about something? Since I attend church regularly and pray and talk to God each day, what concern of that is yours? Again it is a choice. You liberals are really into 'choices' so you should understand.

You need to read through all my blog
Somewhere, way back I did do a post about my ideas on what there might be out there. You might want to go and hunt through this Blog to find it.

The basic idea is simply this. Whatever the higher power MAY be (I am not saying it is, this is just what fits into all the logic I have seen in my life) It is something which we are part of and yet it has no knowledge we are even here. It has no emotions, no 'brian' as far as we can understand. It is NOT even aware. But it is due to us being and we are because ti is, kind of circular thing that all started with the Big Bang, which through all the right energies into the needed patterns to form it all. In this way all the energy of life in connected through the universe as part of the whole of whatever this higher power is. This higher power, even though it does not know we are here, needs us in order ti be more, even though it will do fine without us and most likely not even know of its lose. This higher power cares not what we do with our lives. But nature is what guides us to whatever level w are at. Evolution was just part of nature and a way of making the whole of what is more than it was, kind of like growing into different stages of life. The Universe (For that is what I see this higher power as being, the sum of all that is) grows as life evolves. It was not here before the Big Bang, but was born with it. No after life or spirits, just a connection of all life. Nothing to worship or follow. No one to punish you because you sinned. No great power in the Heavens. No God.

Now, would I be surprised to find out that there really was not such a higher power? No.
It is just one idea I have had that seems to make sense, more sense by far than any idea of a god.

...uh,, what about the higher power you mentioned?
But what about this other higher power that you’ve said you may believe in. Can you tell us more about that?
