And here is a quote from someone defending the gays
"It is deplorable, the message of hate that this man is bringing," FOR spokeswoman Jennifer Hyman said. "But we are reminding people to confront hate not through counterhate, but with compassion and solidarity with those who are targets of the hatred."
Yes, those who are anti-gay Christians are such loving people while those who defend the gays are obviously filled with hate and are evil as can be.
Wait, no it was the Christians who were saying God is filled with hatred while the non-christian was asking for people to be compassionate. Interesting.

They are no demons that is just a great excuse by religious officials to point the finger. As always because they did bad things they could never have worshiped the same thing as you so, and yet by all definition they were just as much a Christian as you are. You can live with your denial all you want, but history shows Christians to be a very evil, confused, misguided and violent group of people. I had pointed out that most of this comes from having a God who tells you to not kill and love each other, then commands you to go and stone you neighbor to death because they are not following the Sabbath.
Atheisthistorian has a quote in his Blog right now from a group of Christians talking at a gay protest. "You can't preach the Bible without attributing God's hatred." And this was said by a child. Gotta love those Christians and their loving ways.

Danial 10:13 is what I am refering to
But the prince( an evil one) of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael( a good guy), one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision refers to many days yet to come."

They DID NOT worship CHRIST
they worshipped Ba'al or (Allah ) the God of the FLESH: the ANTICHRIST. or the anointed of satan, the god of deception. This same demon ( under Satan) that controlled Adolf controled Sadaam. A positional principality. If you notice they both were the same personality commiting the same atrocities with the same agenda.

Yes Kooka
It's there, or else, per your own commentary, you would be dead.

No Shawn
I will not find him because he is not there.
And I do not wish to create an imaginary friend.

You willfully choose not to seek and therefore you do not find.

I am NOT looking for God.
I have no desire to look for God.
I already know that for me that would be a waste of time.
There is no God and I have no need to look for one.
I am happy with my God-free life.
I like to debate and so I try to get debates going here.
So far it seems like skidd is one of the few Christians here who understands this idea and is willing to debate with me on it.
I have a level of respect for him for doing such.

Kooka, I agree with you... and with Jeff and Kay-Ren, too.
I think the word "atheist" has somehow become synonomous with "amoral," and that's simply not true. Christians are not the only ones with morals, and I think that was the point of your post. As Jeff pointed out, atheists are sometimes more moral than self-proclaimed christians. However, I think Kay-Ren has a good point. Religion is a very emotional issue. I've posted about it too, but it seems futile to contantly debate it. I'm willing to allow people to believe what they want as long as it doesn't infringe on my ability to do the same.

Listen carefully. Stop looking for God in other people or religions. Stop looking for a perfect example in an imperfect world (read my latest blog about perfection). Look for God (the good) within yourself.

I agree, but that will never stop me from stating my point of view.
Also, I try to look at any augment from both sides before I start, mostly because this way I can hopefully figure out what the other side will have to say. That way I can either address what I think the others side's POV will be in the augment or I can be ready when they give their side of it.
Contrary to what Cantey believes, I am a very open minded person and am willing to except new ideas when they are delivered with logic. Of course I have yet to see a Christian idea delivered with logic.

They believed in Christ and worshipped him, therefore they were Christians. No amount of denial can get around this fact. It is amazing that you bring this up every time. You just will not listen to fact here. But as with all Christians you wish to rewrite the whole thing as you go along. Is it any wonder that Christians have had such a history.
And right now it seems that CHristians only wish to kill homosexuals and Abortion doctor, but of course that will most likely change in the near future to include atheist from the way things are going.

There is a lesson that I keep forgetting. Arguing religion is an exercise in beating ones head against a wall. The wall being the barrier between the two prespections. I've been on both sides of the wall and it cannot be overcome unless both people want it to be. If neither want to look at the other side then the wall shall remain no matter how much we try to break it down. I think that all we can hope for is that we agree to disagree and say, "It's their life, we can't live it for them." Good post.

We are good because we wish to be, not because we are trying to follow the rules of some higher authority- K.L.
This is where the MAJOR dilemma, or conflict, is. This moral compass that you follow is instilled in you by a Higher being Who has been slandered by a malvolent personality in order to create the hardened attitude you now hold toward Him.
Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?". The devils intent is to create DOUBT in your MIND about Gods integrity and motive. In this he has succedded, unfortuantly, in a vast majority of humanity.
But you, do not believe at all in such a concept. I dont have any desire whatsoever to kill you for this. And you would be very surprised that MOST Christians, dont either. And about the so called Christians who have committed murder in the name of God in the past I say again: They were frauds. And you seem to have closed your mind because of a bunch of PHONIES. An action that that seems lower than you
