About I.E.
I haven't experienced what you said about I.E. Tell you what: ask an expert from one of Microsoft's competing companies, probably they'd have some idea. Ummm, on second thought... are you using Windows XP? Because if your using XP and your modem isn't "compatible" with it, I.E. would react accordingly.

Way to go...
the same is true if your browser is Opera. Finally I know why! Holy crap, my hat is off to you, may the glare not blind you!
Now if someone could tell my why IE wigs out and kicks the modem off line every 5 min when I visit Blogit. That is most puzzling and why I use Opera.
