Okay, you shouldn't fight back...
...but wasn't your mother the one who told you to stand up for yourself in the first place? You shouldn't make the situation worse by shouting at her but, at the same time, she shouldn't take her frustrations out on you. And what if she doesn't want to drop everything, or have someone help her with what she's perfectly capable of accomplishing on her own??
