Thats one thing I always had trouble with, the concept of something having no beginning. It would hurt my head. Crazy, isn't it. In Hebrews 11:1 the Bible teaches that FAITH is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for. Which the ultimate implication is the universe, people, etc had its origin in Gods hope and took its physical entity from the substance of His faith. Hope had the vision, faith gave birth. Isn't that kind of how we as human beings function?

So where did God come from? You are saying it is easier to believe that there is a being who has always been and will always be, rather than the possibility that something could come out of nothing. I cannot believe that there is anything that can be without a beginning or an ending. or at least that is what comes from using logic. And wouldn't God have created us from nothing as well? So no matter what you have to admit that we came from nothing.

Logic also says that since we are here, we came from somewhere. Going off of logic, I see that there is no God. So where id we come from? Well, using logic once more, and since all logic points to us have come form nothing at some point, then I have to believe that everything just was perfect for life to begin here on Earth. That is what logic would led up to.

So, there is a whole lot of logic that backs up the idea that we came from nothing and beat the odds some how. So obviously it is not impossible, it just very., very rarely happens.

My whole faith is based simply on the idea that I know for a fact that I am here right now and I do not accept the idea of God.

Kooka's right.  A statistical variation can be a miricle.  You've got to remember the improbability factor and what scientists view as an impossibility.  Kooka's just wrong about about the one miracle he claims happened a long time ago.  I'm going to get into the probability factor and the "one miracle" in my blogs.  Keep reading.

Your faith is mind boggling
but I guess my faith is just as ridiculas to you. Lets just put aside the bible and religion and get back to pure nature and space. where did it come from? Nowhere? Just happenstance. Not one in a billion chance, like you say. Its impossible. Not even one in an octillion. Its absolutley impossible. You just cannot get something out of nothing. Or can you? Is that the MIRICLE you speak of. Whew. That really is faith. Im not trying to knock you or what you have decided to place your faith in, but how does logic bring you to such a conclusion? The point is, logic did not. YOu really do have faith that is outside of logic. It is almost a godlike faith. If you were a Christian and you possesed such faith you would move mountains (  see Mark 11:23)

miracle- a wonder, a supernatural happening, a prodigy.

A statistical variation can easily be a miracle. Not always, but often. Life after all is both.

People often confuse statistical variation with miracles.
