Great post!!

I'm worried about those machines too, especially considering the connections between Diebold and the Bushes. I hadn't heard that about the results in Florida, thanks for sharing. I did read that Diebold had promised a paper counting capacity, but failed to deliver. No problem, as they assured their machines were fool proof. Yeah right!! I am tired of hearing that the terrorists "won" in Spain. The people were fed up with their leaders and then disgusted by the lies about the attack, so they showed their displeasure. I only hope we will be able to do the same here.

Jimmy68, I know that and you know that

but if I believed we didn't have a chance to unseat the Bushies, I'd move to Canada.

Hear! Hear!
The Spanish are right, I have to admit. The people spoke out, and it ought to be the way it is here. King George II ought to look at his own home country before meddling in the affairs of others. And Nixon, well, his home policy was a bit shaky, but he was damn good at foriegn policy. Great post -- I hope more people read it.

Cynthia:

Fantastic post!  It's hard to believe how many lies Americans are apparently willing to lap up.  It's true that the polls are suggesting a slight shift, but still well over 40% claim to find him trustworthy.  What?!  How is that even possible?  It's almost as if they must want to believe the delusions to continue to so blindly accept them.  And re the Nixon thing, hey, let's not forget the Karl Rove tie between the two.  Now there's a shady bastard right there...
