jemmie, you believe all that I say about myself. That's wonderful and
trusting and very kind of you. Do you remember that I also call myself a liar and sometimes exaggerate or embellish? Okay then.
My mom and dad were adventurers and taught me to embrace adventure, or to call horrible things happening around you " an adventure". Mom and Dad also were the kindest people I know. Mom still is. Dad could be mean to his kids sometimes when drinking, but was fabulous at all other moments in time. They said that when given an opportunity to kick someone when they were down or to rip them up when they made a mistake, to take the high road, find the good and talk about that. Pity the weaknesses in others and be kind to oneself when discovering weaknesses, when examining one's own life and life's choices.
I am also everyone's Grandma Abuelita here on the BN Blogit and must keep to the script of love and kindness and encouragement. Thanks for writing nice things about me. I hope that one of us wins the lottery, so that we can travel together, on crutches maybe....hope not. Mil gracias, hija.
