Colorize your blog!

As requested by Friar Tuck (new name August :-)) I started posting instructions on how to colorize and stylize your blog pages! Check it out here: http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/Vesna/

I will also be replying there publicly on any requests/questions dealing with visual enhancements of blog pages.

Lots of Luck

Blogs are journal entries, no editors involved except ourselves. You read a lot, earmark the ones you prefer to read, comment on their stuff, they read you...it's fairly interactive.

I Peeked

at your blog template.  You have a nice Blogit page.  I wish you'd also write some blogs on how to beautify the Blog templates of  the members here.

Anyway,

I am here because I know I can write and have been out of practice for a while.  Membership at Blogit forces me to put my thoughts into writing.

Second, I am trying to raise some cash for the "evangelization" website I am running on the web.  Among the Augustinian friars in my country, I am the only one doing the job.  And since this kind of apostolate is still quite new, it is looked upon with suspicion, so even from them I don't find any support.

Finally, it is Blogit that gets into you.

Of course not :-)

I seek more deep writings, so in my taste of course not everyone is a serious writer, those are rare .
I sure am not interested in reading typical blog stuff, like who ate what, who saw what on news or what someone thinks about what other someone said to him on blog and the first one opened his thoughts on that as new blog! Argh!

Hope I don't get sucked in that kind of routine of feeling I just need to write my opinion or thought that crosses my mind on any single topic that comes to me. Hope dies last

serious writers?
I thought everyone was a serious writer.  If they aren't this is news to me.

I was pondering the same thing
I just dicovered this site two days ago and I have been having a difficult time with finding serious writing. The other problem I'm having is, how do you know if your writing is any good or not if everyone is busy reading what everyone had for breaktfast :-).

I thought so

Yes, I thought so. As every other site where anyone can write what they wish, you have to dig for the good stuff. Interesting titles can be misleading unfortunately.

Have fun reading or writing!

Dig in the Categories
Things in this community seem to run in cycles. Right now there really isn't much to read unless you want to read about other bloggers or the community. There also seem to be an outbreak of self-promoters that like to spam. This will cycle out and more interesting writing will start to appear. Sometimes you have to dig to find the good stuff.
