Thanks Pecan
I know she is so special. Why can't the mean ones get sick if anyone has to?! I guess it's a bit like people.

Spitfire
"The Wizard's" fleeting life is one that will touch many, including all of you at the animal hospital. Maybe she has another purpose in her next life; so she must get there quickly. I feel for you, for her, for her owners, and for all your co-workers.

PassionF,
Thanks for the comments. Yes, it is hard not to get personally involves, but as a professional, we are trained to try as hard as we can to keep a certain distance so we don't take it all "home" with us. However, it's impossible to do so all the time. Every so often, a certain animal seems to strike one of us personally for some reason. It's almost like it's fateful. I do love what I do, but sometimes, it hurts real bad.

Sad doggy story. Sorry. It's hard not to get involved, huh?
