Coffeehouse Caper

Coffeehouse Caper Sometimes, I just take a break to sit; to watch life passing by. i am never disappointed. Here, if front of my favorite coffeehouse, the world passing by is greening with life. The window washer unpacks the tools of his cleansing mission. No more handprints on the coffeehouse door. Shams asks, “For how long?” Our hearts have a door all smudged and needing a good washing. Where is that window washer of the Soul? © 2018 Shamsujim Sign in to see full entry.

Don't you love it? Don't you love it? When those who are close begin to assume that they know you so well as to be able to predict your every behavior?...and, then, proceed to get mad at you when you inevitably break free of their book-jacket box! When will we learn, Dear Lovers?... when? To accept one another as we do an exquisite sunset? Soon we will and soon we will perceive the Glory beyond good and bad, right and wrong, better or worse! In that day we shall assume our proper place in this... Sign in to see full entry.

Today, I Wept

Today I Wept We interrupt this program With breaking news. Trump appears He signs an executive order Ending the practice of Separating children From their parents. I wept! In joy In relief In saddeness For the pain and suffering Already inflicted. Oh my sweet God, When will man’s inhumanity To man cease forever? My tears demand, When? So Full of Myself

So Full of Myself. So full of myself i became, that i thought I could write a perfect poem with the help of my Muse, of course. My Muse just chuckled, as that poem disappeared in the stroke. Gone in the blink to the land of perfection. Some day, Shams will read that poem to you. © 2018. Shamsujim Sign in to see full entry.

Walt Witman. A Poem by one of the greatest...

Come, said the muse. Sing me a song no poet has chanted. Sing me the universal. In this broad earth of ours, Amid the measureless grossness and the slag, Enclosed and safe within its central heart, Nestles the seed perfection. By every life a share or more or less None born but it is born -- concealed or unconcealed, the seed is waiting. "Song of the Universal" ~ Walt Whitman Sign in to see full entry.

Silent Voice

Silent Voice It is unceasing, that silent voice. It is pure, that silent voice. It is true, that silent voice. It is Peaceful, that silent voice. It is Unifying, that silent voice. It is forgiving, that silent voice. It is life-giving, that silent voice. It is consistent, that silent voice. It is my guide, that silent voice. Make Hay while the Sun Shines Remember when we thought the sun was God? God returned to us daily then. We learned to count on it. Sun/God provided: Crops Warmth Light Well-being Faithfully, God returned. Unceasingly, God provided. God poured blessings upon The Good and Evil alike. Then, we grew in knowledge and God became our Mother/Father. Then God died, was buried, and ascended from the dead. Just to remind us, Christ has risen, He has risen indeed. © 2018 Shamsujim Sign in to see full entry.

Remembering Those Who Have Gone Before Us

Remembering Those Who Have Gone Before Us “Ancestors, sky people, all here today; Hear my Heart song, hear my respect, hear my love. See my greatful tears fall.” (Dances of Universal Peace) My heart is filled with graditude for those who have gone before. Grandparents, friends, and Mom and Dad; Greatful praises flow for you all. You have inspired me, fired me, shone me the Light of Love. Tears of gratitude fill my Soul. I owe my very life to you. You all have molded who I have become. Through... Sign in to see full entry.
