I won't be here to see the mess that others will see so who cares?

I tend to put the onus on doing things tomorrow as well. The problem for me is that tomorrow never comes.😁

Good Morning

Kabu, I'm still getting used to the new Blogit.  It's taking me some time.  I had to smile when I was reading your post.  I become a crazy person before I leave the house and everything has to be in its place.  I'm the last one outside when we are going anywhere and I always have to take the last bag of garbage with me to put in the can.  I don't want to come home to any kind of mess.  I make sure my kitchen sink is clean and all dishes are in the dishwasher.  I wonder if everyone is like this.  I hope you have a wonderful Sunday.  Our Cleveland Browns are playing Baltimore today.  I have no clue who may win.

I think I'll adjust to this new setup but like you it's taking a bit

of getting used to.  I scold myself for being such a dinosaur when it comes to technology - I absolutely hate my cell phone and never use it. I may get some help with the how-to stuff when my kids are here for Thanksgiving, but I'm really tempted to throw it at the wall.

Mama used to keep her house the way you describe. We didn't travel much, but we had a regular cleaning schedule and we kids had to do our share. Good for us, I think.

Good

These are good rules to follow. There is nothing wrong with being tidy or waiting until the next day to finish up those tedious chores. Life is too short to worry about such trivial things. Regular smile

I was brought up the same way. We always left the house immaculate before a vacation so it would be clean when we got home. Mother would even change the sheets first so they would be fresh upon our return. I was the same way. Now, well, can’t travel much these days.
