Thank you. As I was writing this morning, they've been running through the house, bouncing off the furniture, generally spreading mock violence, lots of noise, and causing a lot of laughter. I was raised on a farm with hundreds of animals. Dad taught me early that if I treated the animals with respect and kindness, they would react in kind. I love our dogs as I have loved my family, for they are part of the family. When visitors react to the size of some of them, (one weights 65# and the biggest one weighs 140#) they make references of being afraid of them. I tell them that once I tell the dogs that you are a 'good' person, you have nothing to fear... unless you hurt mama... and then you are in big trouble!

it is lovely to know that you are having a gentle time in your own home and relaxing together. The weather was really unkind to you both but you will beat it and create a wonderful place to be, Yes it is what it is and you two are brave and much loved for who you are.
