As a kid, I remember my grandmother's orange tabby outside with a mouse. I was fascinated how the cat would let the mouse go, then recapture it...Life does have a way of getting harder at times.

Yes, it was fine if there was something in there. Like a slice of ham between two slices of bread. Or some nice sausage rolls and some cream cakes.

Good afternoon
We have had to do some late afternoon watering ourselves for the past week due to extremely hot and dry conditions here in Pittsburgh, and you're right, it does get a bit tedious.

It's been a long time since I heard the term "raid the larder" used....like back in my Dad's day. My only brother when he was a teen was always raiding the larder. As a teen he would never quit eating. He would clean up everything and ask my Mom, "What else do we have?"
