Thank you. If she has thyroid cancer, it is in its infancy, and the blood tests aren't showing anything... yet, so that's good. When I had thyroid issues in 2011, the doctors ignored everything I was telling them, but this set of doctors is listening, and by golly, they are finding out the two of ain't idiots.
And your comment about being careful is exactly why I/we are insisting certain things be done. I'm not to that point in my story on Judy, but seven different doctors ignored everything I told them based on their perception of me being a "nurse who thinks he is a doctor," and it cost me dearly.
I know I am not a doctor, but I worked with all kinds of specialists in the ER, and I asked questions, and I learned. I saw lots of stuff presenting in the ER that many doctors will never see in their offices, and I learned. When we established with this doctor, I told them about my background and said I won't be calling them because I have the sniffles or something common that requires no actual treatment beyond time to heal. I/WE explained that when we came to visit beyond standard stuff, there was a reason for it.
I saw an issue with my wife, and you better believe that I will make sure it gets handled!
