I try to grocery shop once a week, although there are different odds and ends that of which I may have to get to.

As I read about your Friday shopping trips with your mother, I could
almost see the scene unfolding like a movie. What a joyful memory! Lovely to have a warm sunny day for getting things done outside.

Good afternoon
We hit 80 today here too. It's beautiful out. I took our house plants outdoors for some fresh air, sunshine, and rain barrel water. I have every window and door open, and I cleaned all of our windows. I can't stand shopping either. I do our big grocery shopping every two weeks. I run for odds and ends about every 3 or 4 days as I need them from our local Giant Eagle. Our cupboards are stocked, so I really don't need too much by way of boxed, bagged, and canned goods. Other than fresh garden vegetables, I turn to frozen when I must. Enjoy your beautiful weather. For those of us who are enjoying it this week, we are blessed.

I've never much cared for shopping. I'd rather be out in the woods somewhere looking for spring violets, or for Missouri's morel mushrooms.
