I never thought about Antarctica affecting the weather in Australia. That makes a lot of sense now that I think about it.

Did you manage to go to the zoo while in St Louis? We have one of the top zoos worldwide and it's free except for parking and the children's zoo. It has a wonderful penguin habitat where you can see them inside and outside.

Good evening
I have always thought of Australia as being hot and dry. Here in Pittsburgh, we are experiencing an unusually warm winter and spring. I'll take it. I am no fan of the colder elements.

Kabu, it's freezing here. When you are inside and look out the sun is deceiving but it is very cold. I wore my winter coat out to lunch today. I love to read about your life in Australia.

According to the weather forecasts, we're all going to get some
severe weather tomorrow - snow to the north of the St. Louis area. We're supposed to get rainstorms with extreme winds, possible large hail all afternoon and overnight, with possible power outages. Scary, especially after looking at the damage left in the southern states. Stay safe.
