My daughter has a cabin in a mountain area, and there's a mama
black bear with 3 cubs that wanders through their property from time to time. They've had to bear proof their trash bins, and they take pics from inside the house.

When we were in Wyoming years ago and following trails in the forests, all six of us carried big sticks and banged on trees as we went along, talked loudly and sang songs. to let any bears in the area know that we were coming. We didn't want to be surprised by one.

Good afternoon
I love them too. We have a miniature black bear in our yard that watches over the wildlife. It's a lawn ornament, but it once scared the crap out of our mailman.
