We had a tailor nearby the drugstore who had the death camps tattoo. He never talked about it and as far as I know no one ever asked.

an excellent Post. I used to nurse Holocaust survivors in Sydney that had aged and were becoming sick, needing operations. their stories broke my heart.

I do remember seeing some of the death camps being librated. Almost frozen looking captives traumatized as the event happened. Brings back that memory.

Your post give goosebumps at remembering--which it should. I was little when the war ended, but I've never forgotten those awful things.

Good morning
Coming from a military family and being married to a veteran, John nor I never forget any of these horrifying wartime events and circumstances. It is simply deplorable how one group of people can treat another due to beliefs, ignorance, and hatred.
