Yes, but there are also those who contribute: build hospital wings, libraries etc (of course they don't mind getting them named after themselves either).

Look at Jon Bon Jovi who opened a restaurant and you pay what you can afford.

Sadly our own little worries dominate most thoughts I expect these days.

Although they are nothing really compared to what many are experiencing..

I cannot honestly see a solution as the reward is minimal and not many go for that.

Definitely something to think about and to try in some way to correct the situations that come up in whatever way we might be able.

Good Morning

Pat, this is a good post.  I've always tried to make the world a better place by being kind and lending a hand but I will say the world is far from being fair.  I could list so many reasons why I feel like this but it wouldn't do any good.  I used to watch "Brady Bunch" on TV and wish that all families could be like them.  I've never seen a time like now.  The news is a horror story and it's all real.  We just have to try the best we can in our little piece of the world.  If I was going to pick one thing to describe you I think I would say you are a thinker.  That is the best compliment I could give anyone.

Good morning

This is excellent subject matter and a great topic of conversation. I have pondered the unfairness of the world for years. I have always felt that we should all be given equal opportunities in everything to making the playing field more fair, but I guess that we would miss out on our purpose and life lessons if that were the case.
