I remember when we obtained our first window air conditioner. It was put in the kitchen since Mom always made everything from scratch for 8 people.

My dad surprised my grandmother with a window air conditioner. Her house didn't have air conditioning. She refused the gift. She wasn't going to spend money for it. This was also someone who would rob McDonald's of their napkins.

It is amazing how fast the kids grow up.

Good morning

Time sure does fly. Your sons are about the same age as my baby sister. Your bread job sounds like it was really interesting. You have lived quite an intriguing life. I love reading your stories.

Good Morning

Kabu, when my kids were little we had to have an air conditioner.  It was so hot when we lived in Arkansas.  We just couldn't handle the heat.  Last summer was so hot here and we don't have central air but we do have window units and I'm very thankful for that.  The idea of fresh bread early in the morning sounds delicious.  I wish I had some now.  I hope you have a good day.

Grandson Peter's youngest, Vivienne, turned five today.  She's a stinker, so active and always doing something funny.  Marianna is ten now.  Great-grandma is quite different than being Grandma.  For instance I have never had them for an overnight.  LOL.  I just don't have the energy anymore.

Weird, isn't it - how sometimes the days and weeks drag, but when

you look back on it, the years go by in the blink of an eye. Seems like just a very few years ago since I was 50. Love that you named your son Martin.
