Good afternoon
I'm not a big fan of eating animal parts, especially the ones that are severely undesirable. My mother told me that her grandfather used to kill squirrels and make her hold them by their feet while he skinned them. I would have died from the sheer terror of it all.

So many people have lost their family history. Hopefully, sites like Ancestry.com will bring those histories back...People sure ate some interesting things back then.

I couldn't eat an eye or a testicle. I used to have to eat cooked brains of a sheep when I had tonsillitis. They made me feel really sick.

I could not have eaten the eye of anything, although there were times
when we lived on the farm that Aunt Ethel prepared scrambled eggs & brains for breakfast. This usually happened the day after they butchered a hog. They had a smokehouse and smoked their own hams and other cuts, and a big chest freezer.
