You have me wanting to visit an Austrailian beach. America's West Coast tends to have large waves from what I hear.

Of course you really needed a river one could have grown so many things,
It was a hard life I expect, until the wool became valuable. It was used in the Mills
here and a little spinster, very often brought me a blanket . She said it was a second
and she had helped make it. Of course it was sale price. No of course not.

Kabu, I enjoyed this post. Sharks scare me. I always watch shark week and that's where I've learned what I know about sharks. I did watch the Jaws movie but that was very scary to me.

it only gets 15 inch rainfall a year but fortunately it mostly falls in Spring and Autumn.for planting and growing up and ripening for harvest. But it isn't pretty country except, I grew up there.

Good evening
I just looked through some online photos of the Yorke Peninsula in Australia. It reminds me a bit of Arizona, California, and Nevada all in one. I assume that Kangaroo Island, located just below Yorke is home to a bunch of furry jumpers.

Sharks! That kind of ruins the fun beachy image a bit. Your description of the place gives a very different image than I was seeing in my mind. I enjoy reading about Australia from someone who actually lived there and experienced the elements. Thanks for sharing.
