What I do is make note cards of funny or memorable stories and then write about the event. A lot of them are on here. Many still waiting to be written. But yes, do it!

Only the prosperous could comeback. Ha,ha! My granddad's brother did once with a
carriage and horses. I don't know what his profession was but his sister tried to get
something when he passed on, but it was rumored that he had married a non white.
I bet his sister would have taken a plane to satisfy herself if it was today.

I'm already picturing your book being made into a movie. It will be fun to see who is picked to play the part of Little Girl Kabu, Mother and Grandmother Kabu, and how makeup can be used to turn you into an old lady for the finale.

I can see you've already adopted my method - I know what you wrote for
your son is just exactly a pattern to follow for the next chapter in your family story, so you didn't really need advice from anyone. These next few months when you can't work in the garden and ride herd on your gnomes seems like a great time to start putting a few of the bits and pieces together. And while you're at it, sharing some with us here on Blogit - hint! hint!
