I think what a wonderful idea for you to write your life's story for your grandchildren and I know you would run it past us also.

My dad had his cateracts taken care of in the last few years in his early 60s, and he no longer requires glasses. It's amazing what medicine can do.

I like the idea of you writing your lifestory down for your grandkids.

Good morning

The short hours are my second biggest complaint concerning the winter months. My first would be the freezing temps accompanied by snow.

I'd be interested in a copy of your life story...

I taught a group at the senior center about writing their own stories for several years, so I have one little tip to get you started. It's an impossible job to start from the beginning and put everything in chronological order, kind of like trying to eat an elephant with a fork at one sitting. The way we did it was to write small anecdotes, little stories about things that happened, people we knew, etc. Save each bit in a journal, a hand-written notebook or an entry on computer. In fact you may have already got half your story written in Blogit entries or emails you've sent your loved ones. Once they're collected you can edit, add to or delete, copy & paste and git 'er done the way you want it.  Oh, sorry. how I do run on.

Good Morning

Kabu,  I'm glad to hear Jim's eyes are healing nicely.  I wish you luck writing your story for your family.  That would be very hard for me.  I know your neighbor's Christmas lights make the neighborhood look very festive.  I love seeing Christmas lights in the evening.  I hope you have a wonderful day.  Stay warm!
