One cannot help smiling. I would like a new kitchen but I have only had the old one thirty years.

Good Afternoon

Kabu, I hope you, Jim, and Mr. Graysome stay warm on these very cold days.

It does take time to get used to work. I remember when my mother had the powder room redone. Such a small place but it was weird for a long while.

I had an impression that workers in your country are fast, but reading you I now feel that ours are faster. Keep warm and stay safe, dear one.

I hope it warms up tgere. It's chilly here and is tart coughing again. II do hope the kitchen gets more comfortable to be in as time goes by. It's a long haul when construction is going on. Take care.

It seems weird that your contractor's so slow with the project

doesn't seem to be busy season for those in construction & renovation.  I could be wrong about that. And I do hear about supply problems with all kinds of manufactured stuff like cabinets and ceramic tile, appliances, etc.  I hope they finish it soon and you and Jim can settle in and enjoy your space.

When I read your last paragraph I realized I'm really cold and got up to turn up the heat as the temperature outside is getting colder.
