Exactly. On our honeymoon, Judy and I discussed that fact at length. She was sexually molested as a child and I was physically and emotionally abused.
We promised to make sure the abused stopped with us... and it did.

It is difficult knowing what to comment on posts like this, but I agree with you in this statement: As a story I wrote a few years back said, *child abuse is generational.* Most kids who are abused as a child will abuse their kids. You raise your children the way you perceive you were raised.
