There was a time not so very long ago, I thought romantic thoughts... It's such a pressure off, no longer going there! Friend-love is simpler, less fraught.

Sometimes it all seems so simple and basic, and at others
it's a swirling, befuddling mystery - is it 'birds of a feather flock together' or 'opposites attract' ??? Did I deliberately pick a guy my mother would want to smack with her broom? Or did he choose me, thinking he loved a challenge? Why do your posts, CCT, send me off on so many wandering questions? (Don't stop!)
