We got here on the shortest day of the year - 12/22/21 (give or take a day!) and we just went by the longest day of the year - 7/22/22 (give or take a day!) and we now know where the sun is at both times of the year, and we can construct the porch to always give us some sun in the 'winter' and some shade in the summer.
We have a NICE LP gas portable grill we can leave on the porch or pull inside should we decide we need to do so. We love to talk to one another, and what better way to do it than sitting on the back porch in the sun or in the shade, depending on the current season?

Thank you. It's still pretty warm and the chances of rain are fading faster than snow falling in the Everglades, we have had a good day together.
