We were fortunate here for our July 4th and even the Jean Baptiste holiday the week before. This community decided fireworks were too hard on the pets and our wild animals, so not a one was heard!! Everyone, even the younger set, followed the suggestion. I love my community!!

Yesterday there were a couple of young skinny squirrels play and scampering on the lawn....until the loud bang bangs began and then they disappeared.

I don't know which fireworks those are either. We get those pop-up firework sheds selling them. It seems like they sell every type of firework.

That little chap looks fit and healthy. I am glad you have several little animals.
They must be used to the fireworks. We used to make our own as kids. Things we
did throwing them at other kids . Take care

Have a lovely 4th! Those boomers are hard to handle. The animals get beside themselves from the noise, but not much anyone can do except brace for it. As for your photo, I just love those little fat cheeks.

Now that's a squirrel you'd be so happy was there, not only cute
but he eats the dandelion before it spreads seeds and come up all over your lawn. Have a great day!
