It is a weather shock you are going through right now. Hopefully, the intense heat goes away.

Getting caught up and it has been hot here too

It a 100 here a couple of days last week. It would take your breath away. Your plants sound very pretty. Long haulers is common after Covid. It is the same as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. Maybe there will be more research done for long haulers and fibro.

Good Morning

Kabu, today it's going to be 93 and that is just not acceptable to me.  I really dislike the heat.  I love summer but not the intense heat.  It is too much for me.  I'm going to turn the air conditioner on early so the living room will be pleasant this afternoon.  It will probably be 100 in the kitchen by dinnertime.  When it gets hot like this I have no clue what to make for dinner.  During the hottest parts of the day, I can find my gnomes in their room playing video games and cooling off in the air.  The heat is too much for them.  My fairies can handle the heat but they like to be inside too.  Genevieve says the heat causes her hair to frizz up.  They knew it was going to be hot today so they asked if they could watch Disney movies and of course, I said yes.  I hope you have a good day!  Stay cool!

Good afternoon

The heat can be unbearable. The only ones who appear to flourish in it are the birds, bees, and feral fur babies. As for the Hummingbird's sugary food, I boil 2 cups of water and half a cup of sugar. I make sure that the sugar is completely dissolved. After it has cooled, I pour it into their feeders. It should be clear. Any cloudiness in the water will give them a tummyache. I change mine weekly. Sometimes the ants find their way to the feeders, but I spray the hooks with WD40 to prevent them from crawling up to the honey pot where the Hummingbirds feast.
