Poor dad's had a roughish life when one looks back. Although they probably enjoyed
times it was so different. I expect the birds look for water in the hot weather. I try to
put some clean water out most days. Must not get out in the sun too much, it is not so friendly as it used to be.

Good Afternoon
Kabu, I know your flowers must be beautiful. Our flowers are doing good too. I love looking at them. Our hummingbird feeder has been out for a while now and we make sugar water for them every week. They love it. There's no sign of the black squirrel today and I'm happy about that. I hope he's moved down the road. It's in the 70s here today but tomorrow it's going to be in the 90s. I do not like really hot days! I hope you stay where it's cool and enjoy your day.

Good morning
I know as a young girl that you lived near the cool waters in Australia. One misses such a luxury when it is no longer there. I miss living near the ocean, but now I live next to the river, although I don't go past dipping my toes into it. Maybe you could talk your housemate into installing a small pond or a pool. As for the Hummingbirds, we have 3 or 4 of the little guys. I make them their sugary concoction weekly. They along with the Blue Jays are John's favorites to watch at the feeders after a long day at the mill.

Yes people are so happy not wearing masks and roaming around freely but since a few days this month cases of Covid are on the rise in some major cities including ours :(
Good to know flowers are blooming & your garden is looking pretty.Heat i think world over is a reality.... global warming is no longer a distant reality...

Now. Hummingbird feeders go out as soon as the other birds are
back from their southern migrations in the spring. They may be tiny, but those little birds are tough and combative, you could be enjoying some buzzy battles very soon.
