the grasses won't grow if it is too hot and no rain so i believe you can leave off mowing for some time yet. A nice day here after big storms last night.

I hope the negotiated peace works and lasts! The lawn guy has been served up a valuable lesson, too. This may be a thing he never really thought out before, and now he knows.

You're right. A goat would take care of all those weeds and grass. There's room to stable it in my garage. But I don't think the City allows goats & other domestic animals inside the city. Hmmm...

Pat, it sounds like everything is working out for now. I have to say your daughter makes me smile. She's definitely a negotiator and tries to come up with the best plan. I think she's awesome.
