Re: Goldiec,

I don't mind a foot of snow that melts away in the next two days!

More on Pixiechops today...

Re: Amanda,

Yes, feeling better after a good night's rest. I think the malaise is partly due to playing a brainless online game addictively, which I do while listening to Great Courses. It's like the doodling I used to do in classes at school. It actually helped me listen to the words! But doodling is creative, at least.

Re: Kabu,

It was terrible to hear about, I can only imagine how bad it was to experience!

Re: CCT,

With the weather so wet, I haven't put food out lately, and when the Community Cats come around, Pixie is right there so I can't open the door to put any out. The Community Cats are not impressed. May snow is not that unusual for here, though it always comes as a surprise.

Good Morning

I'm really surprised it snowed but fortunately, it's almost gone.  I love your updates about Zorro and Pixie.  I've never had a cat because of allergies but I do like to hear about your cats.  I've been known to have soup for breakfast too.  Sometimes it's just what you need.  Progresso soup is my favorite if I don't have homemade soup.  I'm sorry you are not feeling good but hopefully, you will feel better soon.

Good afternoon,

Hoping you feel better.

And in Australia this last Summer where all the bushfires destroyed everything a couple of years ago on the eastern seaboard, there were devastating floods not seen since I was a little gir. That has been about a 70 year gap. Floods and fires have come and gone but not like this horror show.

It seems relatively late for snow, I hope we can remain frost-free. Do you have to feed all of the cats?

Re: Pat,

It was Progresso's Homestyle Chicken with pearl pasta. It has a particularly satisfying broth at the top which I drink right off before going for the pasta which is also very nice, and just the right carbs for a meal!

I am also not sad about the rain and snow the past several days! It's said that one inch of rain equals 10 of snow, so this is just a fraction of what's needed.  I'd say Mother is in a correction cycle; she does consequences, not punishment.

A can of soup for breakfast? If it's broccoli cheese, then I'm all for it.

Not too sad about the snow melting away, but it would be nice if there were enough precip to prevent forest fires from turning into hell on earth. I dare not complain about the rain here, considering what it coulda been. We had tornado watches off and on for a couple days, brief power outages. Mother Nature seems to be ticked off!
