Kabu, it sounds like you have some wonderful neighbors. I would love to have some fruit trees. My neighbor has a lemon tree but so far she just has one lemon. We had some trees cut down and we are now dealing with the stumps. We still have a lot of beautiful trees though. The Japenese Maple is one of my favorites but I love my magnolia tree too. I know you are going to have a wonderful summer. My gnomes are loving the sunshine today.

Good morning
Fruit trees would be a nice addition to your yard. When I was a kid I used to climb in our apple trees. My step-dad would get mad because he said that I was knocking the apples out of the tree. The funny thing is that I don't remember them eating or cooking with them and I was always the one that had to pick them up off of the ground after school. As for all of the beauty, it's pretty much the same here with flowers, greenery, and packed nurseries. I love this time of year when everything is vibrant and alive. Its a shame that those kids don't have the time to use that garden space. You could have had fresh veggies all summer long.
