It seems to be a lot of people want one or the other, and don't care which. I read that 40% of Americans what to end the whole clock-changing thing, with slightly more preferring Standard to DST.

Good afternoon

It looks like people want DST to stop. I read that it is an antiquated practice that began during the war. The only time it bothers me is during the winter when it's dark at 4:00 p.m.

If we could operate by the natural flow of days and not count the

minutes and hours, if we didn't have to run on schedule to get to work or school or church or lunch with friends, etc., we could get up at sunrise, do our planting or harvesting, start winding down as the sun lowers in the evening. It might be less confusing. Of course, then we might miss our favorite soaps or miss the new episode of Family Feud.
