Good Afternoon
I'm so sorry about your loss. I hope you are staying warm during this cold spell. It's raining here in Cleveland and the wind is picking up. We lost our electricity once today and I hope we don't lose it again. I have dinner baking in the oven and hopefully, it will be done if the lights do go out again. I know you will be happy with Charlie coming home. I was reading one of my Janet Evanovich books earlier. I have to say reading is my happy place. I do hope you have a good afternoon and evening.

Sorry about the pretty bird. At least she's not suffering.
I used to love to walk in the fog in Seattle - the sound of foghorns on the ferry boats or ocean-going freighters was a sound I really loved. Hope you feel better.
