I get fraud alerts all the time. I prefer they are cautious then to find hundreds or thousands charged to my account. I'm happy that it worked out for you.

Banks here have instigated new security rules I have had payments stopped for no reason delivery of food etc. It is quite annoying especially when one eventually gets through the first thing one hears -- we are extremely busy please do not call if your problem is not urgent.

I always used to take any checks I received to the bank for deposit
until Bank of America closed the local branch and it would have taken a 20 mile drive to find the nearest one. So I opened an account with a local bank transferring cash by using a Bank of America check. Glad you resolved the situation quickly.

Good Morning
Ciel, stay warm during this cold spell. We've got one coming our way this weekend and our temps are going back down for a few days. I really enjoyed the few warmer days that we had. I've never deposited a check by phone but I do want to learn how to do it. Thank goodness everything worked out okay for you and they are reissuing your check. I hope you have a good weekend.

I deposit all my cheques with my I-phone too but, on the advice of my son, I then keep them in a file just in case. I believe he learned the hard way, as you just did.
