Re:

C_C_T, it seems to me that the weather patterns are changing everywhere.  It was so hot last summer and in November and December, it didn't really snow except for snowflakes.  It all seems strange to me.

I hope it is a false alarm, It does seem that the weather is playing tricks on everyone. We used to be snowbound in winter but it seems to arrive later each year. They were selling daffodils in the bud this week. I remember when I first came on Blogit that members would remark as things began to blossom etc., it was usually a month before we noticed the same thing.

It never ceases to amaze me all the hording that happens with snow. Where have been people putting all this stuff over the last two years? I guess mini-storage is booming right now.

Pretty sure those weather people arre just guessing most of the time. It was to start snowing here at 4 AM today. Still nothing. I'm disappointed.

Re: I guess it's better to think it might be Armageddon and have it turn out

Pat, I think your home-whipped cream and Swiss Miss sounds delicious.  We also have hot chocolate on the counter for the really cold days.

Re:

Ciel, I hope when this storm is over that our temps start rising and the snow goes away.

I guess it's better to think it might be Armageddon and have it turn out

to be no big deal than the other way around.  I am keeping my old bones in the house today, working with some yarn and a crochet hook... (And there's a fresh batch of home-whipped cream and some Swiss Miss on hand to make hot chocolate.)

It's the same here: Shades of Armageddon... Or maybe more like the Norse Ragnarok! But temps will rise above freezing in a couple of days, and by next week, 40s and 50s.
