It does sound grim, but with that sort of temperature, one has to fight the elements.
Well, I never know what to call those things that one toasts and sinks butter into.
Actually, I had a couple for tea but pulled them out of the toaster before there were
really perfect So I had to dump one and have a banana.

Good Afternoon
Ciel, stay warm and safe. It is so very cold. I've been watching out my kitchen window as the snow falls. All of our trees are covered in snow and it looks like a winter wonderland. We will be spending the afternoon sitting by the fire.

Hot buttermilk biscuits or scones are both delicious. I love the big fluffy biscuits with layers and lots of butter.

I love scones. The plain ones, not necessary to add blueberries or
cranberries - just as they are without one plea is perfectly fine with me. Hope your frozen pipe is thawed by the time you read this.
