I love to crochet but haven't done it for so long since yarn prices keep soaring.

You deserve to make something for yourself. I expect your gifts are really

appreciated. I hope it does keep your hands supple. Yes, I get your joke. Of course,

not many men take up knitting, not that I know of. Although when a boy we used to

make nets for catching crayfish. Also, I made potatoes nets, but folk do not seem to

boil a piece of baking with the taters in a net any longer.

Good Afternoon

Pat, I admire your ability to be so creative and the best part is that you have a giving heart to help people stay warm.  I'm glad that you made yourself a beautiful afghan to keep warm on these very cold days.

Good morning

You are so talented in so many different ways. You could sell your labors of love online, but it appears as though you make your beautiful scarf sets out of love. That is even better yet. Those bright orange knitted caps are big around my neck of the woods during hunting season. I am not a fan of hunting, but that bright orange can save a life when tracking through the woods as I often do.

I'm surrounded by people who can do that kind of thing. I'm seriously considering trying to do some myself. Considering. With the present weather, I'm sure there are many out there appreciating all the warmth of those beanies you made.
