I love to write letters and receive them.

Lovely! What a delight for the person who will receive it!

Folk tended to keep handwritten letters, I suppose they were more personal. Also, it probably was a good exercise for the hands.

Sometimes it's nice to send letter and cards by mail. I did that last week. Took 10 days to arrive cross-country.

My mother won penmanship awards when she was in school and

exchanged letters all the while I was growing up. She wrote to her mom, her sisters and I believe occasionally to her former mother-in-law to keep my wandering father's family in the know about their grandkids. I wish she'd saved them - and copies of her own - what a memoir they'd have made.

Good morning

I love writing letters. I used to faithfully write to my mommom monthly before she passed. I still have her old letters from where she wrote me back. It has become a lost art. It's nice to know that others still take the time to do it.

Good Morning

Ciel, I love to write letters and send cards.  My friends and family always enjoy getting them.  Stay warm and enjoy your day.
