We were lucky. The tornadoes that formed did so after they passed over us. We are in what I call the 'armpit of Florida,' some 60 miles due east of Tallahassee. My cellphone was chiming much of the night with weather updates. Despite the storm, we slept pretty comfortably all night.
We hope that all Blog-It citizens and their families are safe.

My daughter in Florida lives in the Tampa area and they had tornado
warnings yesterday. Fortunately you two and my kid had no major issues thanks to Mother Nature.

I used to love thunderstorm, but I adopted a doggy whio is terrified when they happen, so now I don't enjoy them so much anymore.

I really like the rhythm of the falling rain and the sound of it, the crack of thunder and the flash of lightning. It is all so fascinating.
